Choosing a university to attend for the next four years of my education journey was a difficult, but well thought out choice. From the start, I knew I wanted to major in animal science; however, after taking genetics my junior year of highschool, I started to question whether I wanted to major in animal science or genetics. After researching and contacting the University of Arizona, I was informed the major veterinary science offers classes that will teach me animal sciences while also teaching me genetics. Towards the end of my time at the University of Arizona, I will have the option to apply to veterinarian school to become a veterinarian, or apply to graduate school to pursue my passion for genetics. Which ever decision I end up making, I will use the education I've been given to help our society, and create something great for the future.
